  21. I'm glad to see this lengthy thread on winqvtnet! It has helped me out a 
  22. lot! I have another question though!

  24. When I call the nntp server, the program puts up the hourglass cursor and 
  25. says it's loading my news.rc file.  The hdd spins and spins, pretty soon 
  26. it stops, the hourglass is frozen solid on the screen, and then my 
  27. computer reboots! I have a stand-alone pc, getting a slip line on a 
  28. dial-up, and can access nntp with another newsreader.
